Harvest Your Energy Festival

Join us for the 2023 Harvest Your Energy Festival on October 14th, 2023!

The festival will be held at Riverbend Park by the Wind Turbine from 12pm-3pm. The event is a perfect opportunity for businesses, residents, and organizations to come together and learn about energy savings, environmentally friendly practices, and innovative climate change solutions.

The festival will include exhibits and activities from a number of exhibitor tables, food and live music as well as tours of the wind turbine. During the festival; paper, clothing/material and electronic recycling services will also be available.

The 2022 Harvest Your Energy Festival was held on Saturday October 15, 2022 at Riverbend Park.

It was a sunny afternoon filled with activities, raffle prizes, food, and live music performed by Matt Heaton and the Outside Toys and Trail Mix – Uncommon Folk. Visitors were able to learn about energy saving methods, sustainability, and the environment from some of the 44 local businesses and organizations that tabled. Clothing/textile recyclingelectronics recycling, and paper shredding were also available. According to Helpsy, we were able to successfully divert 1,276 lbs of textile from the landfill! There were also opportunities to visit and learn about “Windy” the wind turbine.

Food vendors included Chapters Coffee Carts and Work Hard Eat Good.

Matt Heaton and the Outside Toys and Trail Mix – Uncommon Folk performed at 12-1pm and 1-3pm, respectively.
