Harvest Your Energy Festival General FAQ

The Festival will be held on Saturday, October 16th, 2021 from 12:00 – 3:00 pm.

The Festival will be held in Riverbend Park at the base of the Medford Wind Turbine behind the McGlynn Middle School.

GPS to this location is often inaccurate: Use this guide to make sure you get to the right place

In case of rain, the festival will be held inside McGlynn Middle School. The date and time will not change.

The festival is completely free to attend, with the option to purchase food or various green products. There will also be a free raffle.

For exhibitors to host a table, the cost depends on your organization type (see below).

Local businesses and organizations will have tables to show off their green practices and products. There will be electronics recycling, live music from Matt Heaton and Trail Mix, and kids activities provided by Knucklebones. Tours of “Windy” the wind turbine will also be offered. For a full list of exhibitors, check our main page.

Exhibitor FAQ

The deadline for sponsorship is 9/16/21

The deadline for exhibitors to reserve a table is 10/1/21

We strongly encourage all organizations interested in participating to submit their forms as early as possible. The earlier we receive your forms, the earlier we can advertise that you are coming!

For exhibitors to host a table, the cost depends on your organization type:

School & Student Organizations: No Cost

Government Organizations: No Cost

Non-profit and Community Organizations: $20/table

Commercial Entities: $40/table

Official Sponsorship: $100/table

Official Sponsorship: $250/table

If your organization sponsors our festival, your name or logo will be featured on our website and advertising material. We usually expect around 300-400 people to attend the event and our outreach materials will be posted all over town, meaning a lot of people will see your logo. Higher level sponsors will also be “spotlighted” on all of our social media.

If you are unable to attend, you can still help us out by donating to our raffle or becoming an official sponsor. Examples of past raffle items include:

  • Gift certificates
  • Organic produce boxes
  • A 30 day trial gym membership
  • Sample products
  • T-shirts/Apparel

Raffle items and sponsorships are a great way to get the word out about your organization. Plus, the better the raffle, the more people will be attracted to the event. If you would be interested in this, please contact Leah at enviro@medford-ma.gov

Yes, but you will need to request it ahead of time on your exhibitor form.

A tabke and two chairs can be provided to each exhibitor, although we are short this year so we encourage you to bring your own. Please let us know ahead of time if you will be bringing your own table or any other equipment we should know about.
