The Safe Routes to School (SRTS) program is a nationwide effort to increase walking, biking, & rolling to school for parents and children from elementary through high school. The SRTS approach encompasses infrastructure improvements, safety education, enforcement, incentives, and community programming to reduce car trips and promote active transportation.
