The Safe Routes to School (SRTS) program is a nationwide effort to increase walking, biking, & rolling to school for parents and children from elementary through high school. The SRTS approach encompasses infrastructure improvements, safety education, enforcement, incentives, and community programming to reduce car trips and promote active transportation.

Our three annual flagship days are:
iWalk – International Walk, Bike, and Roll to School Day (the first Wednesday of October). CLICK HERE for information for each school group’s activities in prior years.
Massachusetts Winter Walk to School Day (the first Wednesday of February)
