The Dance Haven’s mission is exactly what it implies: a place to learn to dance. Ultimately it is a place where students gain strong core values such as; discipline, determination, self esteem, confidence, self expression, and respect for themselves and others; while obtaining an education in dance that is top quality.
We are so happy to be open, we want to assure our dancers, fitness clients and their families that we have taken safety precautions to keep everyone as safe as possible. We have invested in CDC recommended sanitizing solutions and HEPA filter units for each classroom. We will follow all of the guidelines of the CDC and our local administrators. Thank you for supporting us!
We are still accepting registrations for In-Studio & Virtual Dance Classes!

Groundwork Somerville strives to bring about the sustained regeneration, improvement, and management of the physical environment through the development of community-based partnerships which empower people, businesses and organizations to promote environmental, economic and social well-being. While we work primarily in Somerville, most programs are open to the surrounding community as well.
This fall marks Groundwork Somerville’s twentieth anniversary! Join us for 20 free events (mostly virtual, with one in-person neighborhood cleanup), from cooking classes to tie-dying to concerts, and more.
The Mystic River runs through both Medford and Somerville (and communities to our north and south). Groundwork Somerville’s youth program, the Green Team, designed a survey this summer to learn more about how residents currently interact with the river, and what changes they’d like to see. Take the survey in English, Spanish, or Haitian Creole, and share it with your neighbors!

We are a group of residents working with the City of Medford and others to enhance the quality of urban life and build community bonds by creating and sustaining a gardening network that promotes the benefits of “green” and sustainable gardening practices. We invite Medford residents to join us, particularly those without gardening space and who want to be part of a community garden.
Visit our website for information on how to join the waiting list, apply for an educational plot, volunteer to help out, or how to petition to start a new community garden in Medford.
